The 15-Min, Delicious Recipe That Got Me To Lose 50 Pounds In 11 Months

LeslieUncategorized3 Comments

In this story, I shared with you that I lost 14 pounds almost magically during my 1-month vacation China while I was eating a lot of yummy food without being on a diet.

It was quite amazing yet unfathomable at the beginning: I’ve been on a yo-yo diet for a whole year — trying almost every fad diet out there yet making no progress. How could I possibly lose a single pound when I was not holding myself back from eating all the delicious food out there at all?

It was later when I realized the secret was in the food I ate during those days in China. And while I was indulging those beautiful, flavorful, and drool-worthy dishes, I was giving my body all that was needed to shed the pounds effortlessly.

What do I mean by that?

First of all, my cravings and emotional eating issue were gone simply because I was not depriving myself — instead, I had quite yummy and satisfying meals.

Then, my sugar cravings disappeared.

Meanwhile, I was naturally eating less because I didn’t feel as hungry as before — creating a natural calorie deficit even without counting.

And there was this immense mental freedom because I knew those pounds were consistently going off me even with my eyes closed.

All the instant results were because the delicious dishes my mother cooked me were loaded with nutritious, healing, and naturally slimming ingredients that helped me calm the inflammation (which caused cravings and water retention), curb my appetite, clear sugar addictions, and even boost my metabolism. That means I was burning more calories every minute, every hour.

Those meals were helping me slim down every minute, every hour — even if I thought I was cheating every day.

Eventually, I lost those 50 pounds which I struggled with for a whole year without being obsessed with counting every gram or calorie that went into my body.  I no longer felt that I was beating myself up. And most importantly, I had this massive sense of security when knowing those pounds — once gone — were not coming back. That confidence came from how much I enjoyed my eating and how easy it was to carry it forward.

“Really? You can lose weight just by eating delicious meals?”

If that’s your question, I want to show you what it is like by sharing this recipe from my old weight-loss days, which I’m still using quite often today.

And I’m not going to just throw you a recipe without telling you what makes it special. In fact, I’ll tell you the stunning secrets about those foods in it,  right after giving you the recipe.

How did this simple recipe help me slim down naturally and dramatically better than any diet I’ve done before?

Let me share the meaty details:

First, you are only eating 325 calories, yet it feels like such an indulgence.

This very delicious 275-calorie-per-serving dish – with a balanced amount of protein and vegetables – get you the taste, flavors, juices, and tenderness that work together to nurse your taste buds and mind.

You get full and satisfied without feeling deprived, meaning no compromises in your whole new healthy eating experience.

Second, it contains three ingredients that melt away fat every minute, every hour.

Ginger, cumin, and black pepper are three cooking spices with strong flavors. Other than making your food fragrant, savory, and fun various studies have coherently found that they help in decreasing body weight, fat mass, and cholesterol in powerful ways.

Ginger is shown to suppress obesity. It also helps to promote the feeling of satiety. In the meantime, its use as a natural diuretic, by causing increased passing of urine, can help you get rid of extra body fluids and feel lighter instantly.

Cumin’s fat burning power was shown in a study involving 88 overweight and obese women. In that study, researchers assigned the women into 2 groups, with 1 group consuming 3g cumin powder a day, and the other working as the control group, eating no cumin at all. All patients received the same nutrition guidelines. Then, the researchers found the group of women treated with cumin powder has lost significantly more pounds than the control group. The cumin powder was shown to have further reduced cholesterol, BMI, waist circumference, and fat mass of these women.

Similar to cumin and ginger, black pepper has also shown to significantly reduce body weight, total cholesterol, fat mass, and lipid level.

Third, it’s just so easy.

In this article, I’ve shared one incredibly simple technique that makes it extremely easy, joyful, stress-free, and intrinsically interesting to cook your own meals consistently. But I think you can go with this one without it. And whichever way you’ve chosen for healthy living and eating, simplicity is really what’s gonna help you carry it on.
